Kid's Ministry

 

Our Mission Statement

Our goal for the NHCC Kid's Ministry is to help families lead their children to become passionate followers of Jesus.  

We want God's grace to penetrate our children's hearts and minds so that they will lead lives of obedience and dedication to God.

May each of them be prompted to love and obey God, not by a sense of duty or obligation, but by an understanding of God's great love for them.

We want children to feel God's ridiculous love while having crazy fun!

Using the Bible as our curriculum, we will teach the children in our care to know God and how He wants all of us to live.

Our promise is that they will learn about Jesus in a safe, secure, fun, and exciting environment.

Information

Our youth wing is mask optional. For the safety of your children, and ours:
Any adult working with our children (Birth to High School) at New Hope has passed both a criminal background check and a sex offender check.

Nursery Through 5th Grade

For your child’s safety and security, we have a check-in table before entering the Youth Area. First-Time visitors will be asked to fill out a brief form ,and your child(ren) will be given a name tag to wear. The person at the check-in table will be able to answer any questions you may have about our classes. You will pick up your child at the same location.
Our staff will not serve if they are sick or have any symptoms of any illness.
We respectfully ask that you not bring any child that is sick or has had any symptoms of an illness for the last 24 hours.
We have hand sanitizer in all the rooms the children use and at the check-in station. Our rooms are also cleaned weekly. All children have their own box with supplies that are needed. (crayons, markers, pencils etc.)
*Our Nursery and Little Lambs rooms are currently not staffed. However, the nursery room is equipped so that parents can view the worship service while they are watching their child(ren).

These Groups Meet During The Worship Service

Wee Worship- 3 1/2 Years To Pre-Kindergarten

Wee Worship meets Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. The children participate in worship with instruments, a Bible lesson, simple crafts and a snack time. Our goal is to teach the children how much Jesus loves them through our relationship with them and their relationships with each other!

KID’S Church Kindergarten Through 5th Grade

KID’s Church is a worship time designed for kids in Kindergarten through fifth grade. In this class we focus on sharing and demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ to children. Kids will learn about their creator through active worship songs, Bible Lessons, object lessons and games.

*Sunday School is not available at this time.

 

Check-In

Check in Procedures

For your child’s safety and security, we have a check-in table before entering the Youth Area. After a few visits you will receive a permanent check in card that can be scanned at the check-in table.

Kingdom Seekers
6th-12th Grade Students Ministry

6:30 pm To 7:00 pm
Wednesday Evenings

The youth room opens for games, snacks, hanging out, etc. Weather permitting, we may engage in outdoor activities.

7:00 pm To 8:30 pm
Wednesday Evenings

The Kingdom Seekers provides the opportunity for our middle and high school students to start and continue their faith journey. Through teaching and small group discussions, students can answer their questions about faith and apply those truths to their own lives. There’s also a fair amount of games, music, snacks, and laughter!
